Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday. The President welcomed him with a bouquet and expressed compliments on the success of Chandrayaan-3, the country’s ambitious lunar mission.

- President Murmu congratulated the Isro team and fellow citizens for the successful deployment of the Pragyan rover from inside the Vikram lander and said it marked the success of yet another stage of Chandrayaan-3.
- She also said that new information obtained from the moon through Chandrayaan-3 would benefit the whole world while hailing “the unprecedented success of the scientists of India”.
