Today Capt Uttam, MP, attended and addressed the state level Congress Ex servicemen department office bearers meeting in Gandhi Bhavan. He said he was proud to have served as a soldier for the country then and is proud to be a Congress soldier now. He said that we should continuously fight for the Ex servicemen welfare and also strive to strengthen the Ex servicemen department of the Congress party. He reminded that several ex servicemen welfare issues were raised by him in Parliament. He said that the Agnipath scheme introduced by the Modi government is detrimental to national security.
